13:00 Call to Order by President: President Tsuchihashi called the 150th anniversary commemorative meeting to order.  She introduced a guest, Ms.  Komatsu.  She said to everyone to enjoy this commemorative meeting out of the city.

13:02 Greeting by Toastmaster: TM Nagasaki greeted everyone present at the meeting.  He showed photos of #1meeting held on January 28, 2006, and #100 meeting held on August 2, 2014.  He wished to celebrate #200 meeting with as many members as possible.

           Word of the Day: Word Master: TM Cooley: She chose the word ‘gingerly’.

She referred to a figure skater, Daisuke Takahashi, who got back to competing after four years.  She described his comeback as “what one likes, one will do well”.

She found that her speech evaluations were not enough to give fellow members helpful feedback.  And she decided to improve her evaluations step by step.

             Title: Providing is Preventing

She shared a few ideas from her experience to reduce damages when earthquakes occur.

             Title: Certificate of Appreciation

As vice president of Nankoku City International Association, she gave a letter of appreciation to Ms. Ando, who had contributed to an event hosted by NIA.

             Title: I am extremely honored

She received a letter of application for conducting  “NIA Bus Tour 2018” successfully from TM Nagano who is vice president of NIA.

She responded to it showing her gratitude to other NIA members and attendees who supported her.

During the session, TM Y. Nagano had the participants make speeches on each topic.  The list of speakers and topics were as follows:

Speaker 1: TM Hashimoto- Do you believe the spiritual world exists?

Speaker 2: Ms. Komatsu- Talk about your friend.

Speaker 3: TM Nagasaki- What should teachers do if students sleep in English class?

Speaker 4: TM Hayashi- Talk about your favorite TV program.

Speaker 5: TM Kunisawa- What will you advise yourself at the age of 15 years old if you can jump beyond the time?

Speaker 6: TM Cooley- Talk about a story referred to rain.

14:50 Business Session conducted by VPE: TM Ando asked TM Y. Nagano to report the past Area 72 Joint Meeting in Tokushima and he reported.

President:- Kochi Toastmasters Club will host COT#2 on December 2 at Eikokuji Campus with, probably, 100 attendees.  The COT will be offered from 12:00 to 17:00.  The after party will be held from 17:30 to 19:30.  For Kochi TMC, the party seems to be important.
