Title: My Speech Chronicle
It was his first speech in this club.  He reviewed his 15-year experience as a speaker for his restart.
Speech activity has always given him time to struggle but it also has given him opportunities of improvement and bonds with friends.

Title: A press conference of apology 
Her speech was for acquiring a skill to handle a company crisis.
She explained the cause of the accident and future measures in detail at the press conference to show the sincerity of the company.
She also answered questions from the media trying not to leave an unfavorable impression about the company.

16:53 Announcement by President: 
  1. Area 72 Speech Contest is scheduled on March 17 in Matsuyama.  Two Judges and a Timer are required.  If there are any volunteers, let her know.
  2. An ohanami party will be held at Kochi Castle garden, not in the building, after 155 regular meeting in March.  She will order lunch boxes, and the attendees need to bring their drinks.
  3. April meeting date is changed from April 27 to April 20.

His thought was “how people feel time passes”.  And his opinion was that it depended on the situations they were in.

Title: History of my relations with foreigners)
She said why she got to have been interested in foreign countries and learning English.  
First, she was engaged in the volunteer work that taught foreigners the Japanese language.  Through the activity, she understood that there was a diversity of people.  And she vaguely wanted to know something in the world.
Next, when she was nine, she joined a project called “日中韓子ども童話交流”.  She spent for a week under the same roof with some Chinese and Korean children in Hokkaido.  She had kept contact with the participants and the language she used when she chatted with Chinese and Korean friends was English. 
That was why she has been interested in foreign countries and speaking English.  She hopes to lead a meaningful campus life and to grow up to be a woman of culture.

Title: Visit Kochi  
Recently many foreign tourists visit Kochi.  The number of tourist is increasing.
 “VISIT KOCHI” is a special website designed to promote sightseeing in Kochi.  It is available to find necessary information about Kochi.

Title: What I’ve Learned from Libraries
He often goes to the library(Otepia). It seems to be his favorite pastime.  He talked about his daily life and ideas related to unexpected occurrences at the library.  Reading books gives him new ideas, and he feels his life is worth living.

She spoke about her TM experiences and the importance of honest feedback.

Title: The recipe for a good speech
He talked about how to prepare a good speech, and it was very similar to cooking.  He told we need good materials, we should know how to make it with the CC manual.  Good stories were coming up by thinking of the “ Interrogative Why”.

Title: Runaway Pancake
He told a famous and well-known story, Runaway Pancake.  When he was telling the story to the audiences, he was sitting in a chair, and he sometimes looked around gently.

 (High Performance Leadership, Part 5, Analyzing & Presentation Your Result, 5-7 min)
Title: What I’ve learned through the project
She conducted a My-Yu Bus Tour for newly arrived foreign students and workers to let them get accustomed to life in Kochi and to help them enjoy wonderful Kochi with NIA members.
The event was a great success because members of her project team helped each other and worked spontaneously and flexibly.
It’s effective to learn leadership skills working on a long-term project.

14:50 Business Session conducted by VPE: TM Ando asked TM Y. Nagano to report the past Area 72 Joint Meeting in Tokushima and he reported.
President:- Kochi Toastmasters Club will host COT#2 on December 2 at Eikokuji Campus with, probably, 100 attendees.  The COT will be offered from 12:00 to 17:00.  The after party will be held from 17:30 to 19:30.  For Kochi TMC, the party seems to be important.
