15:00 Call to Order by President: President Tsuchihashi called the 152nd regular meeting to order.  She thanked all the club members for hosting the COT #2 on the 2nd.  She said to everyone to enjoy this meeting.

She had finished high school last March and she entered a driving school.  Then she got her driving license recently.  It will help her experience a new world.

Title: What I’ve Learned from Libraries
He often goes to the library(Otepia). It seems to be his favorite pastime.  He talked about his daily life and ideas related to unexpected occurrences at the library.  Reading books gives him new ideas, and he feels his life is worth living.

She spoke about her TM experiences and the importance of honest feedback.

Title: The recipe for a good speech
He talked about how to prepare a good speech, and it was very similar to cooking.  He told we need good materials, we should know how to make it with the CC manual.  Good stories were coming up by thinking of the “ Interrogative Why”.

Title: Runaway Pancake
He told a famous and well-known story, Runaway Pancake.  When he was telling the story to the audiences, he was sitting in a chair, and he sometimes looked around gently.

 (High Performance Leadership, Part 5, Analyzing & Presentation Your Result, 5-7 min)
Title: What I’ve learned through the project
She conducted a My-Yu Bus Tour for newly arrived foreign students and workers to let them get accustomed to life in Kochi and to help them enjoy wonderful Kochi with NIA members.
The event was a great success because members of her project team helped each other and worked spontaneously and flexibly.
It’s effective to learn leadership skills working on a long-term project.

VPE announced the club-level contest will be held next month and she is collecting both English and Japanese contestants.  Also contest officers will be needed.

President:- Kochi Toastmasters Club will host COT#2 on December 2 at Eikokuji Campus with, probably, 100 attendees.  The COT will be offered from 12:00 to 17:00.  The after party will be held from 17:30 to 19:30.  For Kochi TMC, the party seems to be important.

Long time ago, Three blind men lived in the same village.
They din’t like each other. One day they encountered a huge elephant on the street in the village respectively.
One thought it was a big bat, because he touched its ear, then other two blind men thought it was a snake and a tree.They had different ideas. He thinks that he is as blind as the three blind men as he can’t picture the whole world. He let concern with other members of Toastmasters so that they can make a correct figure of a huge elephant.

Officers’ Announcements conducted by President: 
President:- Area 72 Joint Meeting will be held on October 21 in Tokushima.  TM Tsuchihashi, TM Shinomiya and TM Y. Nagano will be there so far.  Our October meeting will be held at Baiseikan, Nankoku.  We will have a picnic lunch.  The contents of the meeting will be the same as usual.   We meet at Kochi Medical School parking lot and the attendees will go to Baiseikan in 2 or 3 cars.

Though the word "fake" means bad impressions.  Fake art pieces of the Ostuka Museum of Art were amazing.  She was impressed.

             Title: Backdoor entry to school
He had a press conference apology.  He made a summary report about the unfair entrance decision to the medical school for specific students.  He also referred to causes and future improvements of the school.  
There were four questioners, TM S. Nagano, TM Tsuchihashi, TM Y. Nagano and TM Cooley, and then he answered individually.

President:- Area 72 Joint Meeting will be held on October 21 in Tokushima.  At least three members of our club are expected to go, one speaker, one evaluator, and one helper.  Area 72 Speech Contest will be held on March 17 in Matsuyama. 
VPE: “Sharing” will be moved to during intermission.
